Our Seren frill slipcover sofa-bed is a super versatile armless style which maximises on seating - especially great for small spaces. 

The fully removable body and cushion covers have a peplum frill and you can have this in any fabric you love. 

We can offer a sofabed mechanism in multiple sizes to suit you. The mechanism is a classic fold out steel frame with pocket sprung mattress for a comfortable night’s sleep. 

The mechanism is built into the base of the sofa so the proportions remain the same, just expect a shorter 3cm leg but with the loose cover over the top you’d never know.

About the Seren

Seren dimensions

Removable 18cm slim tapered legs for ease of access and allowing for additional low storage underneath the sofa if needed. 

Cushion interiors

We offer 3F Origins foam wrapped with Quallofil fibre (made from recycled sea plastic) and European duck feather seat cushions as standard. Origins foam is derived from plant polymers and sustainable castor oil instead of petrochemical foam. 

Our back cushions are full fibre for soft, supportive comfort.

Of course if you'd like a cushion without feather or foam then we'd be happy to suggest alternatives.

A note on our cushions ~ we’ve developed our cushions with longevity in mind. They may feel firm at first but we recommend giving them 3 months to ‘bed in’ and mould to your body, the way you sit on your sofa and temperature. 

We’re confident you’ll love them but if you don’t, we offer a cushion replacement in year one for ultimate satisfaction (and peace of mind). 

Single seat and multiple seat cushion options are available. Please note sofa sizes 160cm and below have a single seat cushion unless specified otherwise. 

Our frames

Traditional FSC-sourced kiln-dried hardwood frame glued, screwed and dowelled for longevity. Serpentine sprung seat and back with hessian, coconut flex and jute binds and padding. 

We use a wool interliner under each removable cover. 

Access options

All of the legs are removable. For larger sizes and narrow access points we can make our Seren sofas in half or blocks that fit together underneath the loose cover.

Delivery & lead times

Made to order from frame to finished in a family-run workshop in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire and delivered in 6-8 weeks. 

Pricing shown includes UK delivery but excludes fabric. Meterage required per size indicated.

Once you place your order we will get in touch to confirm fabric and then handle your order from start to finish with the workshop. We are more than happy to help source fabrics if needed.

Meg's design notes

The Seren sofa is a classic armless shape, perfect for maximising on seating. You can choose any fabric you like and we've had a lot of fun with prints & patterns on this shape.

We can adapt our Seren sofa to a sofa bed, cleverly concealing the bed mechanism within the base profile underneath the loose cover so the proportions stay the same.

Our sofa bed mechanisms come in multiple sizes so if you can't see your ideal width then please get in touch!
